Surf Samar! October 8-10, 2007!

Calicoan was christened as a surfing paradise by 1999 Elf Authentique Adventure - Extreme Category Champion John Howard. Over the years, surf enthusiasts have visited and discovered the thrill of riding high on the swelling waves of Calicoan. This group includes numerous local surfing aficionados and world renowned surfing champions like Adriano Sosa and Danilo Costa of Brazil and Bo Young of the United States of America.

The competition is open to surfers ages 18 years and above for the Open Division and those below 18 years of age for the Junior Division

Trophies, cash prizes and corporate give-aways are at stake for the winners. Competition participants will likewise bring home freebies.
